Process

Translations at words & words are carried out in three stages, each one by a different professional under the supervision of the project manager.

1. one or several specialized translators do the translation itself.

2. Comparative revision: an experienced proofreader performs a comparative revision of source and target texts, eliminating any possible misinterpretations, checking that it is faithful to the original and correcting any other errors that may have occurred during the translation process.

3. a third professional carries out quality tests and a final read through of the complete text. This stage gives us a more general overview of the product and, therefore, allows us to make more delicate adjustments.

Support

Uptaded memories bank

The master memory of the different lines of products that pass through the company are kept in a library that may be consulted by any member of the team. This memory stores only of the final versions of each project, after the revision and final adjustments have been made. Any alterations requested by the client are also incorporated by the memory manager in order to minimize the risk of errors during production.

References library

Electronic reference material that is carefully selected by reliable sources is filed to provide support for technical consultation for each speciality. This reduces the amount of time spent researching and also provides our terminologists, proofreaders and translators with sources of reliable information to ensure good results.

Glossaries

Aside from the specific glossaries for each product, the library also contains all the other glossaries that have been created over the years.

Project protocols

Each product line has its own requirements concerning form and content. The maintenance and updating of these technical documents is essential for project managers to ensure that each task is carried out properly.
